The Account Holder and Authorised Person must follow the online security advice issued by the Bank from time to time and take appropriate measures to ensure account security.
If the Account Holder and Authorised Person engage in fraudulent activities, they shall be liable for all losses arising therefrom. If the Account Holder and Authorised Person are guilty of gross negligence (e.g., knowingly allowing others to use their device or account password), or fail to notify the Bank as soon as reasonably practicable after discovering possible unauthorised transactions, or after the device or account password used for online banking has been disclosed, lost or stolen, they may also be liable for all losses. Please note that these provisions may also apply if the Account Holder and Authorised Person fail to comply with the security measures recommended by the Bank from time to time.
However, unless the Account Holder and Authorised Person's conduct involves fraud or gross negligence (e.g., failure to properly safeguard their device or account password), they will generally not be liable for directly related losses.
